Transportation

We try to optimize transportation to make sure that excellent quality of our products is kept. Customers´cargo can be shipped by sea (by dry or reefer containers), land, and air. Air cargo is possible and effective in cost for quantities below 500 kg. We deliver goods by working with the best international shipping lines and choosing them by considering the shortest delivery time. 

By Sea : 

Mostly our products are exported by sea freight in 20 or 40 foot dry & reefer containers. Dry dates like Sayer dates can be shipped by  dry containers but fresh Mazafati dates should be shipped by reefer containers. 

Refrigerated containers are used to maintain the quality and freshness of the products. The fruit is protected from the environment from the moment it leaves our factory to the moment it reaches the customer´s door. The containers are refrigerated by cold air flowing horizontally over the layers of fruit. This air is distributed uniformly throughout the container.

By Air : 

Transport by air is the most expensive, but it is sometimes inevitable when the fruit must be shipped at short intervals. Usually for quantities less than 500 kg it is worth to send by air. However, cost for transportation to and from the airport must be also taken into account.
